One Piece of Advice about Parkinson's Diseasse

It has been five years since I was diagnosed with PD.  I have learned so much in these five years, and I want to share my experience along this journey. Perhaps that could make life a little easier for someone else.

So, help me out. Every one of us has learned. If you could offer just ONE piece of advice to another person living with Parkinson’s, what would it be?

It might be something practical. It might be something emotional. Or it could simply be something you wish someone had told you the day you were diagnosed.

Your experience matters. Your words might give someone hope, encouragement, or a new way of looking at their own journey.

So… what’s your ONE piece of advice? Note that your advice is not to be presented as medical instruction, but personal anecdotal stories.

Share it in the comments by clicking on Leave a Reply. Someone may need to hear it today. I will review your posting and, if it is appropriate, approve it so others can benefit from it.

I will be sharing a poster like the one below several times a week. These are courtesy of the Facebook page “Parkinson’s Disease Battle Page. These posters are AI-generated, so please do not assume they provide medical advice or instruction. Bottom line, if you have not been diagnosed with PD but think you may have it, I would recommend that you see a Movement Disorder Neurologist.
