This is Trinity Sunday, and Matthew 28:16-20 and specifically verse 19 speak to the Trinity as it is revealed in Scripture, not through a single “definition verse,” but through a pattern of divine self-disclosure in which Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are each fully God, distinct from one another, and yet united as one God.
